	About the Arts and Crafts Center We are proud to offer a variety of programs and events for your enjoyment and recreation. Learn new skills, meet new people who share your interests and develop pursuits that will enrich your life. Try our U-Frame-It department, or our woodshops and ceramics studio. Certification classes are offered each month in all three studios, and we also have craft classes in a wide variety of mediums. Keep in mind we're always looking for top quality instructors to teach unique courses.
	Laser/Metal Engraving With a state of the art laser engraver, we offer a superb product perfect for that consummate professional who is leaving, or for award recognition. Choose from acrylic, glass, metal or wood - whatever the product, the outcome will be the quality you come to expect from Arts and Crafts. We can also provide metal plate engraving. 	Wood Shop Need a one of a kind item? Our woodshop is just the place! If you like use to do some custom wood working bring in a picture and the dimensions, and we'll be happy to give you a quote. If you'd like to work in the shop on your own projects, just sign in. Cost is $3.75 per hour or $40.00 for a month of unlimited use. Woodshop Safety Class: Every Saturday of each month 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The class offers you proper safety practices on different type of shop equipment. Cost: Free - call to schedule date and time
	Frame Shop Custom framing is the way to present artwork in a truly unique way. With a two week turn-a-round on most items and a price that can't be beat, we guarantee a fantastic finished product. Our Frame Shop does more than just framing, we can put together shadow boxes and flag boxes. For a minimal fee, our staff can create a one of a kind item for that special person or squadron. Beginner Framing Class: Every second Tuesday of the month Enrollment $30.00 Plus Supply Registration and payment 2 weeks in advance Must have the basic math skills
	Embroidery Bring in your own item for us to embroider or let us do the ordering for you. There is no minimum order and discounts are available for orders over 25 pieces. We can turn your design into a stitch file for a minimum cost or you can choose a design from our stock. The cost for embroidery is $5.00 for names (text) only, $8.00 for logos up to 3"x4" and more for logos larger than that. You can bring in your MSgt, SMSgt and CMSgt strips to have line numbers embroidered for $2.00 Cost is $.75 per 1000 stitches after the 3"x4" size.
	Programs and Instructional Classes The Skills Development Center offers classes for all ages and abilities in wood working, pottery, and framing.
